God’s Word Is Not Chained

“GOD’S WORD IS NOT CHAINED”

These words written 2,000 years ago pierced me to the core this morning.  

God’s Spirit is not Bound by

a book,

or time,

or circumstances.

Do I live this truth?

Do I allow the Holy Spirit to move unhindered or do I close him off, just as I close my bible after 10 minutes of quiet time?

Do I confine him to the hour of church on Sunday? Is his words more than the verse elegantly scripted on my hobby lobby sign?

Is God’s word alive and active every day in my life or dead within me, falling on apathetic ears and heart?

I DO Believe the Holy Spirit is still in the business of changing hearts. Praying he starts with mine.
