Lakenenland Sculpture Park is one of the most unique and family-friendly roadside stops in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Located just outside Marquette along M-28, this free outdoor art park features over 80 larger-than-life metal sculptures created by local artist Tom Lakenen. Families can stroll, bike, or even drive through the park while kids marvel at whimsical creatures, animals, and creative designs scattered through the forest. It’s the perfect quick stop to stretch your legs on a UP road trip, enjoy a picnic, and discover a truly one-of-a-kind attraction that mixes art, nature, and Michigan charm.
